Target audience

Recently in a previous blog, http://lewisglennonmediaa2.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/drafting-and-planning_11.html I showed you that I had finished my magazine front cover for my film 'Poezzi' but mentioned I would make some tweaks to it. To help me find these tweaks I asked my target audience what they thought of my trailer and got some key feedback. Firstly I was praised for my choice of colour and the look of my cover stars which is good as they are the two most important things of a movie magazine in my opinion. However there were some tweaks for me to make. For starters it was pointed out that I had put USD, which stands for United states Dollar on, but had put a pounds price. This was because I meant to put a pound and dollar price to be sold in England and the USA. However I forgot to add on the dollar price so I was glad that my mistake was pointed out! It was also suggested that I make the main cover line bigger, which again is a fair point as it is not really dominating the cover and grabbing the audiences eye which is what it is supposed to. My final improvement was to center align the names and descriptions of the gangsters. This again is a good point as it would look more smoother and professional, but as pointed out in a previous blog, http://lewisglennonmediaa2.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/blog-post_8.html, I based this front cover off of Empires 'American Gangster' cover and they do not center align as shown below. Therefore I will not center align the gangsters names and descriptions as it is an effective effect which I like the look off. My target audience feedback was really helpful and now I will make the small tweaks to my front cover, meaning that it will soon be done as well as my movie trailer leaving me with just my poster to finish.
