Organisation: Locations

I need a host of locations for my movie trailer, and have started to visit certain spots to see where the best places to record are. The first location I need is a view of the Birmingham skyline to set the scene quickly at the start of the trailer.

For example this shot could be perfect for an establishing shot to start the trailer off with. This shot will let the audience know that this is the city 'Poezzi' and his gang run their business.













It is similar to the start of this trailer in which there is a half a second shot of the city, before cutting to the rest of the trailer.

                                                                    Another location I am looking at is the Birmingham canals. This bridge is the perfect place for Poezzi to face off with the rival gang member for the end of the trailer to leave the audience wanting more. Also due to the canal being underneath the bridge, it will have the threat of someone dying.

Finally the other locations I will need is the drama studio, and a few backstreet alleys by my house. I will post pictures on these things. I also plan to film in the drama studio during the October half term, but just need to get permission to use it.  I have also wrote to Bournville police station to see if I can go down there and film a few police cars driving round with the sirens on for a police scene.
