I have recently watched the Gangster Squad trailer and it has a few useful things I could possibly use in my trailer. For starters the use of costume of the police officers could be something I use. into the trailer the detective is seen wearing a suit, so this could be another costume I use for when the officers are in the office or in the car. I could even put the detective in the suits throughout the trailer.

There is also an action sequence from 1 minute 46 to 2 minutes, 3 seconds. This scene features just short snippets of action which take place in the film and is what I intend to do in y trailer. This is because it gets the audience excited for the film as the action scenes give them an insight to what is going to happen. This is also the sequence where I will put in my music thus building the anticipation within the audience.
Another thing used in this trailer which I might introduce in my movie trailer is the little 'joke ending.' This is where the short shots of action have passed and the film title has come up but there is always a little joke scene after to make the audience laugh and make them see that the film isn't all so serious. This is something I could use in my trailer as my ending might come a bit out of the blue so will be very useful.
