As shown by my recent blog post, http://lewisglennonmediaa2.blogspot.co.uk/2016/01/drafting-and-planning_21.html I recently finished editing a segment of my trailer. To please my target audience I got them to comment on my video to see what they thought of the footage. As shown by the picture below my target audience gave me some valuable feedback on the clip, as well as some improvements. Firstly I was praised with how well the sound matched the footage with which I was happy about because I spent a while trying to find the right sounds to fit in with Castro's appearance. However it was pointed out to me that I can improve in some areas. One comment said that I should use a 'punctuation stab' after Poezzi is informed off Castro instead of the gap. This punctuation stab is used in a few trailer such as Legend as shown by this GIF. However I feel that this will only be effective at the start of the trailer, as the clip I have made is intended for the middle part of my trailer but I could still try and do it in editing as it might look better. Another improvement I was told to bring down the sound on the detective scene which appears 22 seconds into my video. I agree that this is a valid point as it is difficult to hear the detectives so will bring down the sound in the background in editing.
